Which is best of you, are they the right size for your hand? Do they suit your level of gardening experince. There have been a lot changes in tools with ergonomic shapes that prevent or at lease reduce muscle or joint related pain.
Just as important your tools are is the care and storage.
- Always store shovels and spades handles down
- To prevent rust, clean with a dry cloth/rag and brush with oil
- Store in a DRY place
